Burundi YMCA relies on the support from Burundian citizens who live in or outside of Burundi, Friends from all over the World, and organizations to continue providing educational programming, attend to the needs of the society and give hope to the broader community. While we love to see our membership grow, we’re very appreciative of any and all donations. 

Donations are used to purchase and maintain the necessary equipment, empower single mothers in activities that generates incomes, buy food for our feeding program and conferences, buy school materials for the back-to-school program, provide transportation to our volunteers and facilitators, and salaries for our staff members. we are so thankful for your generosity and your support.

We are currently working on our international transfers, once we have settled that, we will post all the information on our website. By Praying

Burundi is a country that went through a lot. A civil war that ravaged and destroyed communities for more than a decade. Because of the instabilities cause by the civil war, many Burundians lost their homes, their possessions and their family members, and the wounds in their hearts are still fresh. There is a big need in Burundi and prayers are very needed.

We have started our organization by faith. We didn’t have any support, but we had faith in the One that called us. Now, we organize camps and conferences every year, feed children in our feeding program and provide school materials for children to go to school.

Burundi YMCA is a growing organization. We have achieved a lot these past 5 years, operating in different provinces of Burundi. We hope to build schools, libraries, gyms, hospitals and training centers in the future. To achieve those future goals, we need more hands.
